Planeta is a Sicilian wine company established in 1995. Planeta is not one but six ways of articulating the land in six different contexts. Such is the number of estates that produce their wine; boutique wineries each seeking, through careful research, to celebrate its locality. Ulmo at Sambuca di Sicilia (AG), Dispensa at Menfi (AG), Dorilli at Vittoria (RG), Buonivini at Noto (SR), Sciara Nuova on Etna at Castiglione di Sicilia (CT) and finally La Baronia at Capo Milazzo (ME) are the Planeta locations, a total surface area of vineyard of 364 hectares.

GRAPE VARIETY: 100% Fiano
APPELLATION: Sicilia Menfi D.O.C.
WINE DESCRIPTION: A single-variety Fiano from lime-chalk soils which contribute to the enhancement of the aromatic markers of Mediterranean macchia owned by this vine. Thus, the delicate aromas of chamomile, hay, mango, and pomelo can also be savoured between broom flowers and thyme. A mineral palate with vibrantly savoury traces which quiver and quench. The finish presents a silky tactile sensation with a refined aftertaste of ripe apricot, of almond flowers and basil flowers.
FOOD PAIRING: Pairs best with fish, such as grilled snapper.
